"In her paintings, Olga Shirokova reveals the emotional and plastic unity of nature
and the humans who live in harmony with it. This oneness is unfolded through
a rhythmic consonance of color accents within the picture's space and a soft, painterly style that creates a sense of forms freely and naturally "growing" from the fabric
of the painted material.

She constructs space through broad color relationships, deliberately forsaking secondary details. Pure, local color helps to define a form, giving it weight and volume, while simultaneously preserving the visible trace of the artist's hand — the texture
of the paint itself emerges as an independent expressive force.

In this way, the artist translates the piercingly bright sunlight or a blue castle, seemingly woven from romantic dreams, into the precious material of painting. Here, through her artistic mastery, the author's temperament is fully revealed: her ability to generously share with us her admiration for the metamorphoses of the world around her.
The familiar and the recognizable are transformed by Olga Shirokova into powerful chords and melodic scales of color and form, creating a new reality within the space
of the painting."
