Personal exhibition of Alexandra Shchegoleva "MISCELLANEOUS: FUNNY AND UGLY"

My new works will be presented in 3 halls of the gallery "Inside" (Voznesensky Prospekt, 20): painting, graphics and art objects. They will be zoned by theme: in the large hall - existential painting and 3D art objects; in the middle hall - 2D art objects in the ready-made style with a soft irony bias; in the white hall at the entrance to the gallery - several paintings on the theme of "7 Deadly Sins" (a large composition and several independent studies for it) and graphics based on the play by William Shakespeare "Richard III" in a modern interpretation. Accordingly, this hall will be dedicated to classical medieval themes that raise titanic spiritual questions.

The goal of the exhibition is to touch upon the most diverse aspects of life from different angles - from soft everyday irony to tragic and theatrical aspects of existence.

11/20 - the author's tour of the exhibition, communication with viewers, answers to questions;
11/21. Author's lecture "10 masterpieces that no one understood";
11/22. Poetry evening. "Masterpieces of spiritual poetry: from Francois Villon to Boris Ryzhy";
11/23. Closed VIP stend up lecture on the topic "Psychology VS Antiquity: sexual complexes named after the heroes of myths and legends. Discussion of a professional artist with professional psychologists";
11/26. Author's poetry evening. Presentation of a collection of poems by Alexandra Shchegoleva "Selected";
11/27. - an open discussion of the artist with art critic Anna Voronkova;
11/30. - Finishing, communication with students of the specialized university (department of art history) (16:00);
Lecture "The Image of the Jester in World Art" (18:00).
